Many dog owners nationwide have had their dogs vaccinated for kennel cough – a mild respiratory infection. Now veterinary scientists say a new virus, canine influenza, is making the rounds. It mimics kennel cough but proves much more dangerous. It has already killed racing greyhounds in seven states.
