Museum seeks volunteers to lead museum school tours

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — UF’s Florida Museum of Natural History will offer docent training sessions next week for volunteers interested in leading museum school tours.

Session I of training will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 21-22. Volunteers must attend one of these days.

Session II will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept.
23, featuring information about the new “In Search of Giant Squid” exhibit.

Session III will take place from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 26- 27. Volunteers must attend one of these days.
