ESPN reporter cancels lecture, book signing due to weather

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell’s lecture and book signing was canceled Sunday due to the threat of Hurricane Wilma.
Rovell, who was scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. today (Oct. 24) to sport management students at the College of Health and Human Performance, said he would reschedule in the next few weeks.
Rovell also was scheduled to sign copies of his new book, “First in Thirst,” at the UF Bookstore. His book is an in-depth look at the biggest name in sports drinks, Gatorade.
The ESPN personality had to cancel all of his appearances in Florida due to the hurricane.
