He has accompanied the orchestra on 19 international tours, made dozens of recordings with the orchestra, and on numerous occasions performed with the Philharmonic on the PBS award-winning series, “Live from Lincoln Center.”
Estrin has a discography of more than 100 solo, chamber, orchestral, and commercial recordings. He has recorded dozens of motion picture soundtracks, including “The Alamo,” “The Rookie,” “You’ve Got Mail,” “Beauty & The Beast,” and “The Untouchables.”
In 2002, he was the principal clarinetist for the “NBC 75th Anniversary Special,” a live three-hour television broadcast. An active producer of recordings and musical events, his recent activities include producing a new solo recording by New York Philharmonic Principal Trombonist, Joseph Alessi, and as Artistic Director of the Vandoren & Buffet Clarinet Choir Festival in Atlanta.
