Forest Service official to talk about biomass, energy

The next program in the John Gray Fund for Excellence Distinguished Lecture Series features Ann M. Bartuska, deputy chief for research and development, USDA Forest Service, on March 28.
The topic of her presentation is “Why Biomass is Important — The Role of the Forest Service in Managing and Using Biomass for Energy and Other Uses. ” The lecture is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., at the Grand Ballroom, Paramount Plaza Hotel, Gainesville.
