Sue Semple-Rowland, an associate professor of neuroscience, was quoted in a May 23 story in New Scientist magazine about her research in which a gene was delivered through an eggshell to give sight to a type of chicken normally born blind.
A story on the research also ran on the United Press International wire service. The stories were the result of a news release.
