RTS to add Sunday service on nine bus routes

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Starting Aug. 27, Regional Transit System will provide hourly service on nine new city fixed routes from about 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

RTS has also enhanced Sunday service on an existing UF Campus circulator route (126-UF East/West Circulator) to provide service from 10 a.m. until midnight. ADA Paratransit Service is available through MV Transportation beginning Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. within a three-quarter mile buffer from the Sunday routes. Funding for the new Sunday service is provided by UF Student Government and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
