UF lab to be named for graduate student killed in accident

Who: Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences officials will rename a simulation lab for graduate student McNair Bostick, who died Aug. 28 after a cycling accident.
What: The crop simulation lab was part of Bostick’s work area as a graduate student. Officials, including Jimmy Cheek, senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources, will speak. Bostick’s family is expected to attend the short ceremony.
When: 3 p.m. Friday
Where: Frazier Rogers Hall, Room 122, on the UF campus.
