Media asked to limit use of recording devices at comedian’s show

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Photographers, videographers and writers covering standup comedian Lewis Black’s show at the University of Florida’s O’Connell Center must turn off all recording devices after the first five minutes of the March 28 program.

Black is a weekly political commentator on The Comedy Channel’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” He also tours the world performing in comedy festivals, writes plays and performs in films such as “Man of the Year” with Robin Williams.
His free program at UF starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. The program is sponsored by ACCENT Speakers Bureau and Jewish Awareness Month.
