Premium tickets for Dave Matthews concert to be offered in online auction

Two opportunities to purchase premier seats to the Sept. 11 Dave Matthews Band concert at the O’Connell Center will become available Friday.

Several floor and Level 1 seats will be available for bid during the Ticketmaster auction, which starts at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com. The bidding will close at 9 p.m. Aug. 30.

Also at 10 a.m. Friday, previously unreleased, premium seats will be opened for sale through all TicketMaster outlets, Web sites, and charge-by-phone, as well as at the University Box Office at the Reitz Student Union and their charge-by-phone service. These tickets are still only $65 (plus service charges) with an eight ticket per person limit.

UF students with valid ID will be given a $20 discount at the University Box Office (UBO) courtesy of Student Government Productions. This special rate of $45 plus service charges is limited to 2,000 seats. The UBO accepts cash only. There is a two ticket per person (with valid ID) limit.
