UF alumnus Lee Cobb to perform a carillon Recital

Professional carilloneur Lee Cobb will showcase his skills at Century Tower as part of the Sunday Afternoon Concert Series sponsored by the College of Fine Arts.
Cobb, a UF alumnus, will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday on the UF Carillon. He will perform harmonious melodies featuring esteemed composers and musicians such as Ronald Barnes, Antonio Vivaldi, Fernando Sor, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Emilien Allard and more.
A native of Atlanta, Cobb graduated with a bachelor’s degree in organ performance in 1989 and with a master’s degree in organ performance in 2003 from the School of Music. A commissioned and published composer, Cobb has many choral and organ compositions to his credit.
The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series continues through the fall with recitals at 3 p.m. on Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16. The carillon series continues with daily performances from 12:35–12:50 p.m. while classes are in session.
