IT professionals encouraged to attend “Lunch and Learn” session on Oct. 16

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Plan now to attend a fun and informative “Lunch and Learn” session about IT security on Oct. 16. The two-hour roundtable discussion, hosted by UF IT experts John Sawyer and Jordan Weins, will offer the latest tools, ideas and guidelines in encryption. Participants are encouraged to ask questions as Sawyer and Weins share some their best practices.

All IT professionals are encouraged to attend. Lunch is not provided, but you are encouraged to purchase food in the Food court and bring to the session. The session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Room 284 of Reitz Student Union.

A future session on centralized log management is planned for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, Room 286 of Reitz Union.
