UF president to give 'State of the University' address next week

WHO: University of Florida President Bernie Machen

WHAT: Machen will present his "State of the University" address to members of the UF Faculty Senate and others. He will discuss the current status of research, fundraising, campus construction, the UF budget and other key areas.

WHEN: 3 p.m. Aug. 28.

WHERE: Reitz Student Union Grand Ballroom.
