UF theater and dance students to perform, 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

GAINESVILLE, Fla. —This play by Tennessee Williams reveals the character of Blanche du Bois, a woman whose life has been undermined by her romantic illusions, which lead her to reject the realities of life with which she is faced and consistently ignores.
Directed by Judith Williams, “A Streetcar Named Desire” will be performed at 7:30 p.m., June 9,10 at the Constans Theatre. Tickets are $13 for students, $17 for general admission and are available at the University Box Office, 352-392-1653, or Ticketmaster.com.
