Chris McCarty, survey director of the Bureau of Economic and
Business Research, was quoted in a June 29 South Florida Business
Journal article about a UF survey that suggests Florida’s consumer
confidence level fell three points in June due to the impact of
the gulf oil spill and high unemployment rates. The story was the result of a News Bureau news release.
