Gainesville, Fla. — The University of Florida has another award to add to its growing list of achievements. The Princeton Review’s Annual College Rankings for 2011 named the University of Florida Career Resource Center the No. 4 “Best Career Services” office in the United States.
The UF Career Resource Center is one of two public institutions listed in the top five for 2011. Center Director Wayne Wallace said it’s a difficult task at a school as large as UF.
“We have a staff that is genuinely student-centered. I’m happy to hear the students are saying positive things about our work,” Wallace said.
Career centers edging out UF include Northeastern, Penn State and Yale. Barnard College was in the fifth position.
The Princeton Review ranks colleges and universities on a variety of categories based on student surveys.
