Staffers reach out to new students during next week
August 17, 2010
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida divisions of business affairs, student affairs and human resources are sponsoring the 10th annual Ask Me Campaign Wednesday through Tuesday.
Administrative staff from all three divisions as well as student leaders will greet new students and parents and distribute bottled water during residence hall check-in on Wednesday and during the first two days of classes next Monday and Tuesday.
During Welcome Week and the first two days of classes, UF staff across the campus will actively seek out new students and provide extra assistance to make the first days on campus a less confusing and more pleasant experience for all new Gators.
The Ask Me Campaign is part of the ONE TEAM initiative – a project bringing together staff from across campus in joint outreach efforts to provide focused and engaged customer service to all students.
