UFPD receives report of indecent exposure in Diamond Village

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida Police Department is increasing patrols in the Diamond Village residential area after a report of a man exposing himself Wednesday evening.
At about 7:30 p.m., UFPD received a call from a UF student who said a white male had exposed himself to her in Diamond Village. The victim said she was walking in the area of Building 302 when she saw a man without clothes. When the subject saw the victim, he said “hello.” The victim then fled to a friend’s apartment.
The subject is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 25 to 30 years old, with black hair.
A suspect has been identified in this case, and UFPD detectives will be investigating further to determine what charges will be filed. While the police will be increasing patrols in this area, UFPD would like to remind everyone to report any suspicious incident to law enforcement immediately.
