Research associate professor of medicine Michael Haas from the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville was quoted in a Feb. 15 Florida Times-Union story about new UF research that shows a B vitamin containing nicotinic acid can create good cholesterol and help prevent heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. This story was a result of a UF News Bureau release.
