Suwannee River trip to benefit UF autism services

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Suwannee River Paddle for Autism to benefit the University of Florida Center for Autism and Related Disabilities and autism services in Lafayette County, will be held this Saturday.
Kayakers and boaters will launch from the Highway 51 bridge near Mayo between 9 a.m. and noon and spend two to five hours meandering to the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort and Campground for live entertainment. Recording artist Mean Mary will perform from 4 to 6 p.m.
Participants can donate $10 to a raffle for prizes, including a Perception Prodigy 10.0 Kayak.
