UF Homecoming's Soulfest applications due Sept. 7

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Applications are now available for the University of Florida Homecoming’s Soulfest, a multicultural extravaganza and outdoor concert including music, dance and art.
The applications for acts to audition are available on the UF Student Activities and Involvement website under the application clearing house

The applications are due 5 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Florida Blue Key office Room 364 or emailed into Marshall Rivers at marshall.rivers@ufhomecoming.org.
Auditions for Soulfest will be held on Sept. 15m and the Soulfest event will take place Oct. 19 in the Reitz Student Union Colonnade.
The event consists of a student organization tabling fair, free international food and a talent showcase featuring performances from student organizations competing for “Best in Show.”
The winner of Soulfest gets to perform in the largest UF Homecoming event, Gator Growl.
The event gives all members of the university and general committees an opportunity to celebrate a variety of cultures and unique backgrounds within the Gator Nation. The event is free and open to the public.
