Student Senate holds committee workshop Wednesday evening

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida Student Government Senate is hosting its first committee workshop at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Rion Ballroom of the Reitz Student Union.

This workshop is intended for people to learn about the committees in the UF Student Senate and what they can do for the students. Students will have the opportunity to learn about how to join the Senate, how to pass legislation, as well as how to get funding for student organizations.

This will be an opportunity for students and student senators to reach out to each other and understand what exactly the school offers them. Student leaders from all SG organizations will attend.
