UF adds graphic to Florida consumer confidence releases
January 28, 2013
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Starting with Tuesday’s release of the January consumer confidence report for Florida, the University of Florida Bureau of Economic and Business Research will add a graphic showing the one-year and five-year trends for the index.
The graphic will be sent monthly with the report, which is usually the last Tuesday of each month. The graphic is three columns wide for standard newspaper width and in a PDF format. Please advise if another format option is needed.
The index used by UF researchers is benchmarked to 1966, which means a value of 100 represents the same level of confidence for that year. The lowest index possible is a 2; the highest is 150.
