UF faculty, staff offered discount for digital journalism conference

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications will host Journalism Interactive 2013, a conference for educators, journalists, scholars and students to explore how journalism schools are meeting the challenge of the digital age, Feb. 8-9.
The conference will be held at the Hippodrome State Theatre in downtown Gainesville. Co-sponsors include the universities of Maryland, North Carolina and Missouri.
All University of Florida faculty and staff can attend for the discounted rate of $99, $151 less than the full registration rate. To register at the discounted rate, go to http://ji2013.eventbrite.com/?discount=Florida13. UF students pay $65.
