Akito Kawahara, assistant curator of Lepidoptera at the Florida Museum of Natural History, was quoted in a July 4 CBS News story about his research into how hawkmoths confuse predator bats by sending sonar signals from their genitals. The story and many others were the result of a UF Media Relations news release.
