GAINESVILLE, Fla. — University of Florida religious leaders will gather to discuss what it means to be a woman of faith during a panel discussion Thursday.
“Women in Religion: An Interfaith Panel” is part of Intercultural Engagement’s Interfaith Dialogue Series, and it will allow female campus religion leaders and representatives to talk about their respective faiths.
The panel will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Pugh Hall’s Ocora with doors opening at 6 p.m. UF religion professor Vasudha Narayanan will serve as moderator.
The Intercultural Engagement office hopes to garner meaningful discussion and raise awareness about the importance of interfaith cooperation through the discussion. The event is co-sponsored by the Women’s Student Association.
