Popular bands Fitz & The Tantrums, Capital Cities coming to Phillips Nov. 11

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Up-and-coming modern pop sextet Fitz & The Tantrums and alternative-dance duo Capital Cities will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the concert, being presented by Student Government Productions. Student tickets will be distributed from noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Phillips Center Box Office. Tickets will be issued until supplies last. Two tickets may be issued per person present with one UFID. Seating for the show will be general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets for the general public may be picked up at the Phillips Center Box Office on the day of the show, if available.
Brimming with imagination, energy and genre-smashing scope, Fitz & The Tantrums has defied the odds to become a chart-topping, show-stopping modern pop combo unlike any other. Its Elektra Records debut, “More Than Just A Dream,” includes the catchy first single, “Out Of My League.”
