GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Here are the releases the University of Florida’s media relations office expects to send next week, subject to change:
Monday, Dec. 16
SUGARY DRINKS — Consumers who are more concerned about what types of sugars are in their drinks will likely choose a less-sweetened beverage, although most people don’t know the difference between natural and added sugars, a new University of Florida study shows.
Tuesday, Dec. 17
CORALREEFS – Although some scientists suggest that coral reefs are headed for certain doom, a new study by University of Florida and Caribbean researchers indicates even damaged reefs can recover.
Wednesday, Dec. 18
CONSUMER ADV — This month’s consumer sentiment survey of Floridians will be released a week earlier than usual because of UF’s holiday break.
