MOVED TO TUESDAY: DIABETES TREATMENT – New research about therapies to treat Type 1 diabetes.
MACHEN SPECIAL ASSISTANT – A new special assistant to UF President Bernie Machen is announced to succeed Jamal Sowell who left to attend law school.

GRAPE SKIN -- Soaking muscadine grape seeds or skins in a solution of enzymes can boost antioxidants extracted from the fruit, creating possible new uses for grape leftovers, which are loaded with nutrients but usually discarded after making wine, a University of Florida study shows.
Wednesday, June 18
ARID TOOL -- A University of Florida-created model may help growers plant at optimal times and avoid crop-destroying drought, which can cost millions of dollars in a given year, according to one of the tool’s creators.
