Media invited to presentation of UF re-branding campaign focused on 'the Gator Good'

WHAT: Presentation for news media about the University of Florida’s re-branding campaign, “For the Gator Good”
WHEN: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26
WHERE: 1 Tigert Hall conference room (Chief Information Officer’s area)
WHO: Representatives from UF University Relations and 160over90, the Philadelphia-based branding agency with an office in Gainesville that created the campaign
BACKGROUND: The University of Florida has partnered with 160over90 to develop a branding and advertising campaign centered on the university’s global outlook and overarching commitment to take on the big issues facing the world. The resulting “For the Gator Good” campaign, scheduled to launch Aug. 30, emphasizes the many ways in which the university is making a difference for the world’s 7 billion people through the lens of the school’s far-reaching research efforts.
